Kodak EIR Aerochrome (colour Infra-Red)
This is the most specialist of all films, very rare
and difficult to use. It was originally made for aviation purposes, in
that it was used for identifying quantifying and studying foliage.
Photographers, being the most adaptable of artists found this to be
aesthetically beautiful and have made good use of it's unique look. What
you see here is the natural look of this rare film.
It has not been digitally manipulated to appear this way.
Sadly Kodak EIR is being discontinued at the end of 2010 but oddly enough it's
not digital that has killed it...satellites have done that, they and not
aircraft are used to continue what this was designed to do....
